Deputy Dean ZHAO Yuxin Led the Team to Visit Universities in Germany and Britain

      From September 24 to October 1, 2017, at the invitation of Technische Universität München and Newcastle University, professor ZHAO Yuxin-deputy dean of the college, led the team to visit universities in Germany and Britain.

     During the visit to Technische Universität München, after visiting the information control laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, deputy dean ZHAO Yuxin and the members of the team conducted profound discussion with chair professor SandraHirche and his research team as well as vice professor Majid Zamani who engaged in hybrid control system respectively on innovative personnel training project of China Scholarship Council, joint cultivation of doctoral students and researches on relevant fields. Besides, deputy dean ZHAO Yuxin and the members talked with postdoctoral Chinese students from universities and institutes such as “Max Planck” Institute of Physics and introduced the talent introduction policies and research areas.

      During the visit to Newcastle University, deputy dean ZHAO Yuxin and the team conducted consultation on work with the international honorary dean of the college-professor Chambers. And with the company of professor Chambers, deputy dean ZHAO Yuxin and the team visited  laboratories of electrical engineering, intelligent sensing and communication, electric power engineering, biomedicine and semiconductor technologies, listened to the introduction and made academic discussion. In the meanwhile, deputy dean ZHAO Yuxin visited the Department of “Marine and Technology”and the laboratory  and communicated with the dean-professor Robert Dow.

    The visit this time enhanced the relationships of the college with Technische Universität München and Newcastle University, providing communication foundation for teachers of both sides on cooperation in teaching and researches as well as a new way to joint cultivation on postgraduates.
